Organic Cafe & Accommodation

Gæsteriet is an organic café and B&B tailored for adult cyclists and hikers, offering accommodation in cozy rooms or luxury shelters, including a delicious organic breakfast. It is located right by the Berlin-Copenhagen and the Mönchsweg cycle routes (routes 9 and 88), as well as the Sydsjællandsleden hiking trail.

Gæsteriet serves as a pit stop for CO2-neutral coastal tourism. Motorized guests are charged a climate fee of DKK 50, which goes towards the town’s charming village pond. Dogs are not allowed, as 3 cats work on the farm. All access is at your own risk. The place is not suitable for children, and smoking is strictly prohibited.

Surrounded by woods, fields, and the sea, you will find Gæsteriet—a small, peaceful haven created for outdoor tourists who appreciate organic products, quality, nature, and tranquility. After a day of hiking or cycling, you can settle down in one of our cozy lounges, enjoy nature, and let the silence take over, accompanied by birdsong, a “dark sky” starry night, and an exceptionally undisturbed peace. All rooms share a bathroom and toilet. Gæsteriet is designed for adult guests. We love children, but the house is filled with small, whimsical details, meaning it is simply not suited for play, noise, and a fast pace.
